Hi there Beautiful !
Wanting to try smokey eye but scared you will end up looking up like a raccoon? Well you can try this pink smokey eye to begin with. Its very trendy, easy and even if you go wrong , the workaround is going to be very easy.If you want to know how, then please keep reading 🙂
Step 1 -> So first things first.Prime your eyes.I used the Urban Decay primer potion. Then use any nude colour eyeshadow or even powder to even out the skin on your eyelids. You all must be knowing the tape trick by now.So its basically taking a small piece of tape and sticking it starting from below your lower lash line up-to where the eyebrow ends. This will help make sure the eye look to get a defined line around the end and act as a base for winged liner.
Step 2 -> Next i took this dark chocolate colour shade and defined my crease slowly using Mac 217 brush .Remember always use a low hand and keep building the colour . Do not go much above the eyelid. Next apply the same colour around the end of the eye in small soft circles.Always blend the eyeshadow inwards to give it a more defined look.Keep blending until you get the desired look.
Step 3 -> Next i wanted to darken it up a bit.So i took this dark brown colour and started applying it in circles and dragged around it up-to one third of my crease.
Step 4 -> Once i was happy with it, i took this mauve shade and applied it on the remaining part of my eyelid.I used the real techniques shadow brush for this.
Step 5 -> Next i took this gorgeous pink shade and using my elf shadow brush i applied this on my eyelid. Now this is the shade that i need to highlight. So do not just brush it across.Hold the brush and swipe it down with a little force.
Step 6 -> Now i again went on with Mac 217 and started blending to remove any harsh lines .Next i took a small brush and brushed it around my eyes to remove any fallout and to get a clean refined look.
Step 7 -> Next i took the urban decay eye pencil in brown and lined on top of my eye line. You can basically use any brown eye liner. Also you need not be careful about this line as we are going to smudge it.I used the real techniques smudge brush for this.I also applied the brown liner to half of my lower lash line.
Step 8 -> Next i cheated to create a winged liner by just creating a small wing starting from the outer corner of my eye extending the brown liner. This saves time and also has very less room for mistakes .Then you can slowly remove the tape.
Step 9 -> Next i again took the mauve shade and using a accent brush applied it on my lower lash line to give a more pink effect.
Step 10 -> Next i took this highlighter shade and applied it on top my brow and on the inner corner of my eyes.
Step 11 -> I finished this look with loads of mascara.
So this is the final look you guys :).I know it may seem like lot of steps but trust me it is very simple.
Now you can totally skip this next step, but i went ahead and applied the NYX roll on shadow in mauve pink on the centre part of my eye lid to turn it into a night look.
